1. Temperature/ Environment.
By temperature I mean your environment’s temperature. This is very subtle. Just imagine these two scenarios. One is, you are in a place that’s sweaty, even just above the normal temperature, and the other one is in an AC room. Which one you feel comfortable in? Obviously you’d say “AC Room”. Now why is that? It looks simple but it’s nuanced. The temperature can alter your behavior, to some degree very clearly. If the electricity is off for 10 minutes, we know the power of the fan. The temperature is not only to feel normal, it very much dictates our thoughts. What you see, ie, your environment and your surroundings has strong impact on what you think and how you feel. I’ll give you an example which made this very post. This is the place where I’m writing this post. (Insert Images)

Like you can see this post’s idea has come from here. I would say there’s a 90% chance this idea wouldn’t have come if I had chosen a different place, just this time. Now you don’t have to go to a fancy place. Just make sure you’re in a decently cool natural place with preferably plants around you. There’s something subconscious about being outdoors that’s just feels right. So even if you can’t get one right, for example, temperature, get environment right. If temperature and environment both are against you, and you are unaware of this, then you will feel difficult to do whatever you want to accomplish. If you can’t change any of these, atleast one thing you can do is just take bath, maybe twice a day. So that your skin is receptive to absorbing the coolness of the air. That’s a secret there.
2. Clothes
Next let’s talk about Clothes. The clothes that you wear should make you feel comfortable. The cool part about clothes is that it’s the easiest and cheapest thing you can change among these 5. Maybe you have comfortable clothes with you already. I prefer a cotton tshirt and cotton shorts, just keep it simple. There are varieties in cotton itself. Just go for the quality ones like supima cotton. It’s just awesome. When we talk about sleeves on tshirt, a half sleeve is usually great. It looks decent and just right to go anywhere. If this is not possible for you, then try something similar to cotton. And also being aware of it is an important point. When you feel in a certain way, just fix the clothes and see if you feel differently. This all sounds silly, but it’s not.
3. Money
This one is very obvious. You need money to be comfortable. Whether it’s food or a phone, you need them. Or else it can get ugly. You gotta make money. There’s no other way. You need to acquire skills and knowledge and keep yourself updated everyday to thrive in today’s tech oriented world. Now you don’t want to be fully loaded with information all the time. Maybe weekly you can get to know what’s happening in your industry. Ok. Let’s zoom out. Money. Now how much you need is the question. Because you have all the money and no time, then what’s the point? So there should be a balance between time and money so that you enjoy life and not just chase money. Money is like oxygen, you need money to have a comfortable life. But it’s not everything.
4. People
Loneliness is real. People will never tell anyone but it’s very much present and it keeps increasing in today’s digital world. This is a little more visible than our first point on temperature. You need people to share and talk stuff with. I mean you need new people in your life. It’s not the friends and family I’m talking about. It’s new people. People who you wish to talk to, people who are new to you, these things add interesting elements to our lives. So if you want to talk to someone, throw a solid approach and let things play out. Once we experience something, we actually know how something feels like. So unless you feel the loneliness, you cannot know what really it is. Some people are so pity that their entire life goes like this. You don’t want to be one of those people. Get talking to new people.
5. Creativity
Now this is a little bit difficult to understand and execute. But the thing is you need to create something that you can monetize, that means that you can earn from your creations, maybe an Instagram page, YouTube channel, or whatever. There is something interesting in creating something new that it can make you feel you less lonely maybe, it’s not an entire substitute but it’s got the potential to make loneliness less felt. Now creativity is not something super creative it’s just you created something and make some money on the side. It’s really easy to grasp. Now what to create and how to monetize involves much more paying attention to what you like and your lifestyle and your aspirations. Now what am I doing? I’m creating this post and maybe I’ll make some money in the future for this post in some way. Now does this require creativity? Maybe some. It’s more of “observational” post than a creative post but you get the point. It’s about creating something that’s new and you share and potentially monetize down the line. It’s that kind of stuff I’m talking about.
