Introduction
Let’s talk about books. Simply put, books are words said by someone. Words equal information. So when you read a book, it’s like someone telling you information, And guess what you need to achieve anything? Information. It’s that simple.
Books are just information providers. It’s like the author talks to you directly on what you should do on a particular topic and what you should not do.
Books
Books provide us with detailed knowledge on any particular subject. In today’s fast paced social media world, books have lost their value. In order to achieve anything, you need to spend a lot of hours on that thing, which helps you to gather more data around that particular subject, and books help with that.
It’s almost like a secret weapon, maybe we should rename books to sweapon, secret + weapon. Because it is a secret weapon, it’s a cheat code, you are just downloading all the information in one go that took years to learn by someone.
Reading books also provide other benefits like improving your communication, vacabulary, critical thinking, decision making and other related benefits.
It helps with exploring what others went through for a fraction of cost and we still debate whether reading is for me. I understand that people get bored because of the format that books are structured.
Let’s not ignore the fact that it is boring to read words but make no mistake, words = information. This is what I call a steal deal, because you essentially stole it.
It helps us to connect various dots from various fields and gives us a full picture that we wouldn’t have otherwise got.
Reading books can substantially improve the quality of life because the information provided is by going through it and by real people. Everyone should read daily. If you’re lucky you get to read more. This is why I named this post as “unfair advantage” because it’s more than unfair advantage.
It’s a cheat code to whatever you want to do. Think of something you want to achieve and buy books and most of the heavy lifting was done already for you. You just need to adjust to your situations and make it work for you.
ROI of a book
Let’s talk about the ROI of a book. It’s insane to even comprehend that. You paid a penny and got years of information, man, it’s not fair. It’s unfair. I think books are greatly under-priced, every book should be 10 times more costlier than what is it today, right?
We need people to buy books and read, so let’s not increase the cost, but you get my point right? Even books that are priced 1000 rupees are still cheap when we look at the value and years of knowledge it provides. It’s the best investment one can make.
People invest in various things like stocks, etc but the real steal deal is the books that one can buy and make tons of money by deploying the information given.
