These 5 Apps Control My Entire Day (8+ hours) … And It’s fun!

  1. Google Docs:

Pretty simple. I use Google Docs to write about posts for my social media content and blog posts, for these two pages mainly, one is this one (slgl.fun) and the other one is friendswithfinance_(fwfi.in).

Also for all personal related writing, I do it in Google docs.

It’s just simple and fast. I try to finish the typing part in one go. Usually it takes 45 minutes for me to write 1000 words and that’s what I aim for, at least for now.

I can always increase it right? And I also believe that if I give some time after the first draft, it can get better, but it also takes time so initially I have this plan to go with volume and the quality and speed will improve automatically.

That’s my idea. And sometimes I don’t even fully complete 1000 words. Mostly I will cross 1000 but sometimes I may finish at 950 and just feel great about it. Or like this one where it’s just 500 words and I’m ok with it. Because it’s about the idea, right. I can stretch this post to 1000 words, but why? Because word count is important 😂. And also I can always come back and add to this post. Voila!

2. Chrome:

Once the post, typically 1000 words, is ready it goes to my blog first.

Then I head over to Canva and start repurposing it for specific platforms.

For graphics, I prefer freepik.com premium version.

3. Once the text content is ready, I go to canva and start preparing the outlines and post ideas.

I don’t think too much and obsess over quality at all.

I just write whatever I like just to keep writing whatever I like, like this one.

For me it’s just the post idea, right? Is the post interesting enough for my target audience to consume? That’s all.

I just push out more content and not worry about the quality. Quality is tricky, we all know that game.

So in canva I put all the graphics and text, and make ready for the posts to go to Instagram.

Then I post it on Instagram on the relevant area, carousel, stories etc.

4. Meta Ads:

Actually currently I prefer paid ads because of the certainty it brings. I’m not against organic reach.

It’s just low cost so I go with it.

Organic reach is great, it’s just that that is secondary for me. Just personal preference.

Once I run ads I get some motivation to make other content and the cycle keeps continuing.

5. YouTube: Once I’m done with the content and posting, I just listen to some songs and watch YouTube content, premium, by the way, I don’t like interruption by ads, I mean who does? After YouTube is over, I just keep silent and not mess anything. That’s for the day.

Also I try to be social. This is not of course everyday.

Of course I take leaves whenever I feel like I need to communicate with people, and whatnot.
